In his recent visit to the Philippines, Chairman Chao-Chin Tung of CTBC Bank paid a courtesy call to Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Governor Nestor A. Espenilla, Jr. The Chairman of the largest financial conglomerate in Taiwan was in the country to attend the 51st Annual Meeting of Asian Development Bank and host a series of bi-lateral meetings with senior officials of major banks from Germany, India, Indonesia, Japan, the Netherlands, and the Philippines. During the courtesy call, Chairman Tung expressed his appreciation to the BSP and Governor Espenilla for the valuable support and guidance extended to CTBC Bank's local subsidiary in its over twenty years of banking service in the Philippines. Both sides also took the opportunity to exchange views of mutual concern, aimed at strengthening collaboration between the Bank and the regulatory body for the benefit of the investing public.
