Chairman

CHENG-HSIN WANG assumed his post as Chairman of the Board on December 16, 2021. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Public Finance and Taxation degree from National Chunghsin University and Masters in Public Finance from National Chengchi University in Taiwan. He is currently a Consultant of CTBC Financial Holding Co., Ltd.; Director of Land and Houses Securities Public Co., Ltd.; and Consultant of Land and Houses Fund Management Co., Ltd. Prior to that, he was an Independent Director of Fubon Financial Holdings Co., Ltd. from 2016-2017; Chairman of Yuanta Life Insurance Co., Ltd. from 2014-2016; President of Yuanta Financial Holding Co., Ltd. from 2013-2014; Chief Strategy Officer of Yuanta Financial Holding Co., Ltd. from 2008-2013 and 2014-2016. He joined Chinatrust Commercial Bank in 1982, had engaged in Corporate Planning & Financial Control for over two decades, and used to be the Chief Financial Officer & Chief Strategy Officer of the Bank.

Vice Chairman

WILLIAM B. GO, has been the Vice Chairman of the Board since October 15, 2001. He also served as concurrent President from April 3, 2008 to January 31, 2009. A Certified Public Accountant, he obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of the East and Masters in Business Administration from the University of Missouri in the United States. Mr. Go founded Chinatrust Philippines in 1995 and served as President until October 15, 2001, when he was elected Vice Chairman.

President and CEO

OLIVER D. JIMENO, was elected to the Board as Director on July 25, 2019 and President and CEO of CTBC Bank (Philippines) Corp. on December 2, 2019. He also served as Head of Treasury Group from 2009 to 2019. He obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration degree and also Masters in Business Administration from the University of the Philippines. Mr. Jimeno has been with the Bank since December 1999, having served as Head of Treasury's Domestic Desk in the same year and Head of Liquidity and Balance Sheet Management Desk in 2005. Prior to joining CTBC Bank Philippines, he was a Swap Trader at PCIBank and a Trust Marketing Officer at Citytrust.

Director

JEN-WEN LIAO, was elected to the Board as Director of CTBC Bank (Philippines) Corp. on July 5, 2023. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering degree from National Tsing-Hua University, Taiwan and Masters in Business Administration from University of Michigan, U.S.A. He is currently the Senior Vice President of Risk Management Department of CTBC Financial Holding Co., Ltd., Head of International Credit Risk Management Division of CTBC Bank Co., Ltd., and Director of CTBC Bank Corp. (U.S.A.).

Director

JUNG-HSIN SUEI, was elected to the Board as Director of CTBC Bank (Philippines) Corp. on July 5, 2023. He obtained his Department of Political Science degree from the National Taiwan University and Masters in Business Administration from University of Dallas, U.S.A. He is currently the Head of International Retail Banking Group of CTBC Bank Co., Ltd. Prior to that, he was the Head of Wealth Management Division, Branch Channel Management Division, Private Wealth Management Division, Customer Development Division, Global Wealth Management Division, and Product Planning Division.

Independent Director

ALEXANDER A. PATRICIO, was elected as an Independent Director of CTBC Bank (Philippines) Corp. on December 12, 2018. He obtained his Bachelor of Industrial Management Engineering degree from De La Salle University and Masters in Business Management from the Asian Institute of Management. He is currently the Vice Chairman of OMF Literature, Inc.

Independent Director

STEPHEN D. SY, was elected as an Independent Director of CTBC Bank (Philippines) Corp. on July 25, 2019. He obtained his Bachelor of Industrial Engineering degree from the University of the Philippines and Masters in Management from Stanford University, U.S.A. He is currently the President and CEO of Focus Palantir, Inc., SLA Prime Ventures Corp., and Focus Global, Inc. He is also a member of the Board of Lian Hong Co., Inc.

Independent Director

LUIS Y. BENITEZ, JR., was elected as an Independent Director of CTBC Bank (Philippines) Corp., on June 24 2021. He obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of the Philippines and Masters in Business Administration from Stern School of Business New York University, U.S.A. He is a Certified Public Accountant. He is currently an Independent Trustee of Insular Life Insurance Co. Ltd., and Senior Adviser of SM Investment Corp.
